Similar conditions to yesterday; slightly less wind but a slightly improved swell. First run out on the 5.8 was mega-overpowered so I came straight back in to change down to the 5.2. This was spot-on for the pretty much the whole day, allowing some big jumps and plenty of decent rides, even though the swell still wasn't a proper sized long-period job. I was sailing well too - I felt that my wave selection and frontside wavesailing was really starting to improve, and my inside tacks were also becoming very consistent.

The session finished on a downer when I broke and lost my 27cm on the reef. I tried going out on the waveboard instead but there wasn't quite enough wind. Still, today was definitely my best session of the trip. A shame we didn't get more wind and swell but I would have been too ill to go out during the middle of the week anyway.
